1. Data Sources

All structural dimensions are derived from the AISC Steel Construction Manual (v16.0) database. Our system ensures that every SVG generated matches the design properties used in professional detailing.

2. SVG Precision

  • Scale: 1 unit = 1 inch (standard architectural scale).
  • Geometry: Path-based vectors with simplified nodes for fast CAD importing.
  • Naming: Every file includes the designation (e.g., W14x90) in the metadata for easy sorting.

3. Integration

The Master Spec is designed to work seamlessly with our SketchUp and FreeCAD importers. By standardizing the input data, we eliminate scaling errors common in manual PDF-to-CAD conversions.
